This target comes as a DIY kit. It is un-welded with an un-welded throat assembly. You will need to source your own angle iron and to either purchase our MPB or fabricate your own.

"Hostage Moe" is a 66% IPSC shooting target with a reactive hostage head location. Constructed from ballistic grade AR500, this target is sure to provide years upon years of enjoyment. Whether you're a competition shooter, recreational shooter, or even LEO, this target is sure to hone your skills and provide hours of enjoyment.

This target system is available in a few different variations. You can purchase either the do-it-yourself (DIY) target system, or you can have us do all the welding for you. The welding is super easy and we provide instructions for the reactive throat. The reactive throat is what holds your target to the angle iron and it positions your target at the optimal 22 degree angle, which safely deflects bullet fragments down upon impact.

This product is a DIY target. You will receive an un-welded target and throat assembly. 

Our setup is designed to be used with 1.5″x.25″ angle iron. We sell all of our reactive targets without the angle iron. You can source it locally for $12-$15, or you can buy it separately in the Replacements and Add on section of this site. It’s a more expensive option simply due to the shipping cost. Remember, we want to make this target kit affordable for all budgets. If possible we recommend you source it locally.

Also, if you don’t already have one, you may want to consider our patent-pending multi-purpose base (MPB). The MPB works great for all of our reactive target systems, plus you can also use it for our dueling tree target systems. There are two angle insertion slots – one that holds the angle iron in the vertical position for use with our reactive target systems, and one that holds the angle iron at a 22 degree lean for our dueling tree target systems.
